Job summary

Hamilton HealthCare System in Hamilton, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer prescribed cardiopulmonary procedures under physician supervision. The role includes patient ventilation, testing, and charting within the Respiratory Therapy department.

The ideal candidate has JRCRTE program completion, current CPR, and Texas CRTT/RRt certification, with preferred experience in pediatric and geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved JRCRTE program.
• Licensure: Texas license required and CRTT or RRt certification.
• CPR training current.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory therapy treatments and procedures on patients.
• Performs pulmonary function testing.
• Administers gas and aerosol therapy and IPPB therapy.
• Performs arterial punctures and analysis of blood.
• Maintains airway and removes secretions; supports ventilated patients.
• Performs ECGs and interpretation of results for physicians.
• Provides care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients.
• Assists with cleaning, maintenance and sterilization of equipment.
• Enters procedures in medical records and assists with charges.
