Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer basic and advanced therapeutic procedures, including arterial blood gases and ventilator transports, in adult and neonatal units. This role supports RCP I–IV levels and leads patient education while actively participating in departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRT or RRT license preferred; current license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP or related credentials preferred.
• Two years of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care procedures per physician orders.
• Assess patients and interpret arterial blood gases and tests.
• Provide patient and family education and education efforts.
• Document care and maintain records per policies.
• Ensure safety and adherence to standards in a high-acuity setting.
