Qualifications

• Ability to float between multiple hospital locations, with availability for day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and advanced respiratory therapies
• Manages mechanical ventilators
• Provides patient and family education
• Assists with invasive procedures
• Monitors via non-invasive tools
• Supports intra-hospital patient transport
• Also involved in airway management
• Blood gas sampling
• Discharge planning
• Adhering to safety and regulatory standards
• Functions as a shift coordinator after one year
• Mentors students and new staff.
