Job summary

Kindred Hospital Seattle – First Hill is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver safe, competent care in a long-term acute care setting. You will assess patients, assist with ventilation, ABG sampling, and patient education while coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team.

The role requires NBRC credentialing, active state license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of bedside experience in respiratory care. Seattle location, full-time days available.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy education required for credentialing.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• CRT or RRT credential required per NBRC CMP.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures in all areas of the hospital per policies.
• Document and maintain respiratory care elements of the patient plan of care.
• Verify and initiate physician orders for respiratory care.
• Manage airway devices and ventilation support as ordered.
• Perform ABG sampling and analysis and monitor gas exchange.
• Provide patient and family education and handoffs.
