Requires an Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred; hold a state license as Respiratory Therapist, NBRC RRT, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days of hire. Strong data entry, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Requires an Associate's Degree in respiratory care or related field.
• Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• NBRC certification as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures as per policy.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and administers care appropriate to patient age.
• Adapts care and communication to diverse patient populations.
