Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; NBRC RRT credential.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification by AHA.
• ACLS certification required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators (invasive or non‑invasive).
• Administer HFJV, HFOV, and nitric oxide therapies.
• Deliver inhaled medications (SABA, LABA, LAMA, ICS, antibiotics).
• Educate patients and caregivers on conditions and management.
• Perform ABG, EKGs, PFTs, and surfactant delivery as ordered.
• Ensure proper functioning and usage of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
