Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostics, and ventilation support for diverse patient populations. You will monitor, document, and communicate care plans with the team in a patient-centered environment.

Required: Associate's degree, state license as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC registration; ACLS within 90 days of hire; excellence in patient interaction and data entry. This is an on-site role with 24/7 flexibility.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in state of practice.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) is required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures per policy.
• Reviews and documents all clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Delivers care appropriate to the patient age and needs across units.
• Adapts care to different patient populations and safety guidelines.
