Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS from AHA; ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Must have computer skills and be proficient with data entry and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures per policy.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and Arterial Blood Gases reporting.
• Adapts care to the patient population and ensures privacy and informed consent.
