Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing in Ashtabula, Ohio is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical care team. You will assess and manage residents with respiratory conditions, administer oxygen therapy and chest physiotherapy, monitor ventilator-dependent patients, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license.
• CRT or RRT credential NBRC is required.
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage residents with respiratory conditions and needs.
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and adjust settings as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on respiratory care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.
