Job summary

The Beach Post-Acute in Long Beach, CA is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical team. You will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders and support the RT Lead with care plan implementation.

Responsibilities include administering IPPB, aerosol therapies, chest physical therapy, spirometry, and diagnostic tests, while maintaining equipment and timely documentation. We value teamwork, patient care, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active CA RRT/RCP license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and care for patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory care therapies and procedures.
• Administer IPPB, aerosols, chest PT, incentive spirometry, sputum inductions per policy.
• Perform diagnostic pulmonary and cardiac tests.
• Maintain and operate respiratory therapy equipment and document care.
