Job summary

Goodall-Witcher in Clifton, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist under supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director. You will administer prescribed respiratory therapy procedures and assist in equipment cleaning and disinfection.

The role requires graduation from an approved JRCRTE program, RRT registration, CRT/CRTT or RCP certification, and CPR certification. Texas license preferred; strong communication and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Under the supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director, administers prescribed respiratory therapy procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures and assists in the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of respiratory therapy equipment.

Graduate of an approved JRCRTE Program. Registered as an RRT, Certified as a CRT, CRTT or RCP required. Texas license preferred. Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Current in CPR. Some computer skills required. Requires extended periods of standing and walking, bending and reaching when providing patient care. Pushing and pulling equipment, lifting supplies up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of patients when needed.

Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) previous hospital experience preferred.
