Job summary

Goodall-Witcher Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer prescribed therapies under the supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director. You will perform technical procedures and assist in cleaning, maintaining, and disinfecting respiratory therapy equipment.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an approved JRCRTE program, registered as RRT and certified as CRT/CRTT or RCP, with CPR current and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved JRCRTE Program.
• Registered as an RRT, and certified as a CRT, CRTT or RCP.
• Texas license preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Current CPR certification.

Job description

Under the supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director, administers prescribed respiratory therapy procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures and assists in the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of respiratory therapy equipment.

Graduate of an approved JRCRTE Program. Registered as an RRT, Certified as a CRT, CRTT or RCP required. Texas license preferred. Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Current in CPR. Some computer skills required. Requires extended periods of standing and walking, bending and reaching when providing patient care. Pushing and pulling equipment, lifting supplies up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of patients when needed.

Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) previous hospital experience preferred.
