Job summary

Willow Tree Post Acute in Topeka, KS is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our growing pulmonary program. You will administer respiratory therapies, follow physician orders, and help prevent rehospitalizations while supporting residents’ pulmonary and cardiac needs.

The ideal candidate holds Kansas licensure (CRT or RRT) with ACLS/BLS, and can lead shift operations under supervision, ensuring safety and quality care for each patient.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas Respiratory Therapist license.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• CRT or RRT credential.
• ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and facility policy.
• Administer therapies and monitor patient response.
• Document data in medical records and track program progress.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Lead shift operations as in-charge therapist.
