Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the patient care team and provide active clinical assessment, initiation, modification, and discontinuation of respiratory therapies for critically ill patients.

You will analyze clinical data, collaborate with the medical staff, educate patients and families, document care accurately, and ensure equipment is maintained.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Board of Respiratory Care license required.
• Heartsaver CPR AED preferred.
• 3-5 years Respiratory Therapy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical patient care assessment and initiation/modification/discontinuation of respiratory therapies for critically ill patients.
• Analyze clinical data and advise on appropriate therapy and care plans to the medical staff.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care needs and techniques; maintain accurate records and documentation.
