Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) on a 12-hour schedule. Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $47.10 per hour, based on experience, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus South South High Street

Schedule: Full Time - 12 Hour Shift - Night Shift (7:00p-7:00a)

Compensation: $35.00 to $47.10 per Hour, Based off of Experience

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
