Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) for contract work in healthcare facilities. The RT provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management and rehabilitation under a doctor's direction, helping patients from infants to the elderly with breathing difficulties.

Required RT certification/registration and CPR; TB screening and health certificate as applicable. Pay is $50/hour, with 12-hour shifts and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state.
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.
• Treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and helps patients who are having trouble breathing.

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
