Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to contribute to our 895+ bed tertiary care center. You will coordinate and deliver patient‑centered respiratory care, perform diagnostic tests, and monitor patients on invasive or noninvasive ventilation within the department.

In this role you will assess breath sounds, administer oxygen and aerosol therapies, assist with airway placement and ventilator management, and respond to emergencies to maintain airway integrity and

Qualifications

• RRT/Practitioner Certificate required.
• NBRC-RRT certification required; PFT option acceptable.
• BCLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor therapeutic response and escalate when needed.
• Transport ventilator-dependent patients as required.
• Respond to emergent situations to maintain airway and ventilation.
