Responsibilities

Under the direction of the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, the RCP II performs respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, considering age and patient-specific needs. In the absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing the department during their shift.

Qualifications

• State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification required, maintained current.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC required.
• Preferably 2 years of experience as an RCP.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire, maintained current.
• NRP certification preferred.
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire, maintained current.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required; high school diploma or equivalent if no degree.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive pay ($42.53 to $58.87) and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, 401K, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. Exact starting salary depends on experience, education, and credentials.
