Offering $25.00 - $45.00 per hour.

The Health Care Specialist performs equipment setups in a timely and professional manner, responsible for setting up highly technical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units. Provides technical assistance with equipment and may perform setup of all types of oxygen equipment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing patient education as part of patient care, often in the patient's home. Requires use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license.
2. Performing complete and professional patient assessments following policies and procedures.
3. Maintaining current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
4. Following applicable safety and regulatory policies including OSHA, DOT, FDA, and emergency planning.
5. Representing the company professionally through appearance, patient care, and written reports.
6. Facilitating prescription collection.
7. Maintaining organized patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
8. Working on-call after hours and weekends as needed, with response times determined by center size and staffing.
