Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Dallas area. You will provide patient-centered respiratory care in line with department standards and perform essential diagnostic tests and therapies.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, delivering oxygen, aerosols and chest physiotherapy, assisting with artificial airways, and managing ventilator support. BCLS completion within 30 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/RCP-State: Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credentials.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessment including breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administer respiratory therapies: oxygen delivery, aerosol meds, chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement; initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation.
