Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an enthusiastic Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in alignment with department standards. You will perform diagnostic tests and manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation as part of the care team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, breath sounds, airway patency, oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation.

Qualifications

• State-licensed Respiratory Therapist per state requirements.
• NBRC-RRT or PFT certification required or eligible.
• BCLS certification or instructor qualification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen and aerosols.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage ventilation.
• Monitor patient response and escalate as needed.
• Transport ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain airway during resuscitation.
