Job summary

TIUM Staffing LLC seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in North Carolina. You will measure lung function, administer therapies, monitor patient response, and respond to code calls while upholding safety and quality.

This role requires an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy, NC RRT license, BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications. Night shifts with weekend rotation and a $7500 sign-on bonus are included, with shift differentials to recognize night and weekend work.

How you'll contribute

A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer;, EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.
• Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
• Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.
• Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.
• Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, performs preventive maintenance, and calibrates respiratory equipment.
• Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree in respiratory therapy required.
• License: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of North Carolina.
• Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.

The sign-on bonus is posted as $7500. Yes, they will work 7p-7a. There is a requirement of every other weekend rotation, which may vary depending on the need. Shift differentials are the following: Weekend (1.75) Night (1.85)
