Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Denison, Texas is seeking a certified respiratory therapist to provide therapeutic respiratory treatments and perform advanced diagnostic testing. The position requires an associate degree in respiratory therapy, relevant licensure, and prior experience in an acute care setting. Additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory. The successful candidate will also serve as a preceptor for other therapists, contributing to an essential healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Licensed as a RRT by the Texas Medical Board and registered by NBRC.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider course completion must occur during new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care unless licensure was obtained prior to November 11, 2009.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Licensed as a RRT by the Texas Medical Board and registered by NBRC.
• BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. NRP within 90 days of employment.
