Universal Health Services in Texas seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to perform routine and intensive respiratory therapies, maintain ventilator and life-support equipment, and provide routine patient assessments.
The role includes ABG procedures, assisting with intubation, and ensuring equipment readiness; candidates must hold Texas RRT licensure, complete NBRC eligibility, and maintain BLS/ACLS; PALS and NRP within six months.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. Maintains respiratory equipment. assures ventilator and life support equipment are operable. Provide routine respiratory patient assessment. Performs some invasive procedures such as ABGs and will assist with intubation.
