Medical City Dallas is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across emergency, critical care, and acute settings. You’ll use advanced respiratory technology, provide ventilation support, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Certificate
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (PFT) Pulmonary Function Technologist
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status by focused exams and airway patency needs.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airways with invasive/noninvasive methods.
• Educate patients and families; partner with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards.
