Job summary

HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our patient‑focused team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications

ACLS within 6 months of employment start date (if applicable)
BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date
RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credential
Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

Assess respiratory status through focused exams and breath sounds.
Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
Manage ventilation and airways, including invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
Maintain and sanitize respiratory equipment and ensure readiness and safety
