Job summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across emergency, ICU, and acute settings. You will assist with ventilation management, oxygen therapy, airway clearance, and patient education, collaborating with physicians and the care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airway patency assessment
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosols, airway clearance, and other treatments across care settings
• Manage ventilation and airways by assisting with airway placement and both invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Educate patients and families, serve as a clinical resource, and partner with physicians and nurses
• Maintain equipment and safety, ensure readiness, and follow infection-prevention standards
