Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic services and diagnostic tests to various patient types.
• Set up equipment and supplies, assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform assessments including patient history, chest x-rays, vital signs, blood gases, and communicate findings to physicians.
• Perform arterial punctures or blood gas analysis.
• Perform intubation as credentialed and approved.
• Provide onboarding education to new staff and assist students.
• Schedule and maintain documentation for PAP therapy, educate patients, and manage equipment inventory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registry-eligible Respiratory Therapy School.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (must become registered within 12 months if currently eligible).
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License issued by the Oklahoma Board.
• One year of full-time respiratory care experience or recent clinical practicum.
• Conscious Sedation Certification before participating in IV Conscious Sedation procedures.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• BLS certification or obtain within 60 days of hire.
