Job summary

Logan Health Whitefish is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Whitefish, Montana team. This 36-hour per week, 12-hour day shift role offers the opportunity to provide safe, effective respiratory care in a small, critical-access hospital.

The position requires Montana RCP license, NBRC credentials, and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). Logan Health offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and strong team culture in a Planetree-affiliated setting.

Qualifications

• Montana RCP license required.
• NBRC credentialed RRT required within 1 year of hire.
• NBRC CRT license required; must obtain RRT within 1 year of hire.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• NRP within 1 year of hire.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective respiratory care that supports patient comfort and positive clinical outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and teamwork in all interactions.
• Manage ventilators, deliver medications, operate respiratory equipment, and document in the EMR.
• Maintain current competencies through ongoing education and department training.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment to support quality care and patient safety.
