Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 science hours.
• NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required on hire.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care, including ventilator management and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; mentor students.
• Ensure patient safety through documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures; support pulmonary diagnostics.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and promote evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems, and mentor new staff and students.
• Ensure patient safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, and support pulmonary diagnostics as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and promote evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 science hours.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or provisional). All certifications required upon hire.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
