Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our hospital team in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide respiratory care across modalities, including critical care and blood gas analysis, and support patient comfort and outcomes.

Qualifications include AMA-accredited education, licensure, NBRC CRT eligibility, CPR certification, and strong computer skills in healthcare systems. Preference given to candidates with additional college/associate degrees and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current temporary or permanent license (LRCP) to practice.
• Working knowledge of respiratory care procedures and critical care.
• Eligible to take or have passed NBRC CRT exam; CPR certified.
• Proficient with computers in a health care environment.
• Preferred: additional college/associate degree.
• Preferred: hospital experience.
• Preferred: NRP, PALS, ACLS/ALS certifications.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to learn computerized equipment.
