Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to administer respiratory therapies and assist patients in breathing support. In this role, you will administer oxygen, medications, and operate ventilators as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required is an Associate's Degree with a preferred Bachelor's in a AMA-approved Respiratory program and CT licensure. We emphasize self-direction, teamwork, and commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred from AMA approved Respiratory program.
• Ability to function as a self-directed team member.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy to assist, control and/or improve patients' breathing.
• Administers oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, and ventilators.
• Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments and related duties as assigned.
