Job summary

MidState Medical Center is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide respiratory therapy to assist, monitor and improve patient breathing. The role requires administering oxygen and other therapies, operating ventilators and resuscitation devices, and performing related duties as assigned.

The position is a 36-hour day shift with three 12-hour shifts and every third weekend, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's Degree from AMA approved program preferred.
• Connecticut state license required.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy to assist, control and improve breathing.
• Operates oxygen therapy, inhaled medications and ventilatory equipment.
• Performs pulmonary diagnostics and related duties.
