Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to administer therapy and support patient breathing. This role requires an associate degree (Bachelor's preferred) in a AMA-approved respiratory program, and state licensure.

The position offers a 36-hour/day schedule with three 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. We are part of a broader Hartford HealthCare network that emphasizes quality care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred from AMA approved Respiratory program.
• Ability to function as a self-directed team member.
• Connecticut state licensed.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy to assist, control and/or improve patients' breathing; administers oxygen and other gases, aerosolized meds, devices, ventilators, resuscitation equipment, etc.
• Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and related duties as assigned.
