Meadowbrook Healthcare is seeking a full time licensed Respiratory Therapy RN to join our team in the Rehabilitation Department. We provide quality patient-centered care to our Residents in our 220 bed Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing Facility located near the beautiful Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.

Duties:

• Coordinate and perform daily skilled respiratory assessments, treatments and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary plan of care for the patients.
• Assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and progress.
• Adjust equipment and supplies for respiratory care and treatment.
• Educate patients on breathing exercises and how to use respiratory equipment.
• Administer medications for various respiratory conditions.
• Plan, implement, and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses/compromised respiratory function.
