Job summary

Accendra Health is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide home-based respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support. The role blends in-office and field visits with 50% office time and 50% on the road.

You will perform oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP setups, and conduct patient education, while maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• LPN with Respiratory Care experience OR Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active NY RT license.
• Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects 10–50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and comfortable using mobile tech and digital documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and maintenance.
• Document care delivered and escalate concerns as needed.
