Job summary

SolutionHealth in Nashua, NH, is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time 36 hours per week. Night shifts include 3 x 12-hour shifts, with one shift 3pm-3am and two shifts 7pm-7am.

You will perform respiratory care, administer ABGs, manage ventilators, respond to codes, and maintain required licenses and CPR. Benefits and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA Respiratory Practitioner program is required.
• Current NH State RCP license and CPR certification required.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy orders throughout the hospital.
• Draw arterial blood gases and analyze ABGs.
• Manage life support ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP.
• Respond to Codes/Emergencies for airway management.

About the Job:

Performs all aspects of respiratory care within practice guidelines and approved hospital policy and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Performance of respiratory therapy orders throughout the hospital
• Drawing of arterial blood gases, analyzing ABGs and cord/venous/capillary samples
• Management of life support ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP
• Respond to Codes/Emergencies for airway management

Who You Are:

• Requires satisfactory completion of an approved AMA Respiratory Practitioner program required.
• Completes all major competency verifications on a yearly basis required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• Current NH State RCP license required and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position.
• 1 year experience acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications preferred.
