ARMStaffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Nashville, TN. The dayshift schedule runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, to deliver high-quality respiratory care and patient transport as prescribed.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, operating ventilatory equipment, managing oxygen and aerosol therapies, performing chest physiotherapy and suctioning, and assisting with bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Respiratory Therapist license.
• Experience in a clinical setting performing respiratory therapy procedures.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred

• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal).

• Assist with respiratory-related procedures such as bronchoscopy, trach placement, and chest tube management.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient care.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, delivering intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed. The role involves evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, and educating patients on treatment purpose and procedures. Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, managing oxygen and aerosol devices, and performing suctioning and chest physiotherapy. The therapist will also conduct monitoring of patients' vital signs and assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care.
