Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team in Seattle, Washington. The role involves delivering respiratory therapy per physician orders, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

We offer relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus. The RT will educate residents and families, maintain equipment, and participate in care planning in a resident-centered post-acute and long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
