LCMC Health in Louisiana seeks a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to oversee ventilator management, airway support, and high-acuity responses. You’ll work nights with a compassionate, patient-first approach, collaborating with a skilled team to deliver safe, effective therapies and education to patients and families.

This role requires state licensure, NBRC RT credential, and current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active state license with Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) designations.
• Current BLS/CPR (AHA).
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Responsabilités

• Manage ventilators and adjust settings based on patient needs.
• Perform arterial punctures and assist airway management.
• Support high-acuity situations including Code III responses.
• Assist with bronchoscopies and intubations.
• Deliver therapies (oxygen, aerosol therapies, CPT, IPPB, incentive spirometry).
• Monitor equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Educate patients and families to empower decisions.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
