LCMC Health in Louisiana is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts at West Jefferson Medical Center. You will provide critical and general respiratory care, manage vents, perform airway support, and educate patients and families to empower their care.

Required credentials include LA LSBME licensure, NBRC RRT, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS. Join a team that values clinical excellence, compassionate care, and collaboration in a busy hospital environment.

Formación

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (Louisiana) licensure required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• Current BLS/CPR per AHA standards.
• ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Managing ventilators and adjusting settings based on patient needs.
• Performing arterial punctures and assisting with airway management.
• Supporting high-acuity situations like Code III responses.
• Assisting with bronchoscopies and intubations.
• Delivering therapies (oxygen, aerosol, CPT, IPPB, incentive spirometry).
• Monitoring equipment and ensuring safe operation.
• Educating patients and families to empower care.
• Maintaining infection control and safety standards.

You’ll be hands-on with both critical and general care, including:

• Managing ventilators and adjusting settings based on patient needs
