Job description

Responsibilities

  • Administer therapies including Hand Held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (HHN/MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), and Pentamidine therapy. Medication administration may be included during these therapies.
  • Administer medical gas therapies.
  • Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Texas.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP Certification required (NRP within first 30 days of employment).

Overview

This is a PRN role with a rate of $37/hr.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues, providing diagnostic evaluations for cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.

The Woodlands Hospital serves North Harris and Montgomery counties with comprehensive services including cardiovascular, diagnostic imaging, women’s health, neurosciences, pediatric care, surgery, pathology, pulmonary services, and sleep disorders.

Pay Range

$27.77 - $40.27 per hour
