Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program required.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas is mandatory.

• Administer therapies such as Hand held Nebulizer and Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation.
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Administering therapies including, Hand held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (HHN/MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), Pentamidine therapy. Medication administration may be included during these therapy modalities.
• Administer medical gas therapies
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• Associate’s Degree from a respiratory care degree program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Texas (RCP)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP Certification required (NRP within first 30 days of employment)

This is a PRN role.

The rate is $37/hr.

As our Respiratory Therapist, you will care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory problems.

Every day, you will provide diagnostic evaluations for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system.
