Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapies including HHN, MDI, IPV, and CPT.
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing.
• Care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory problems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Administer therapies including Hand Held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), and Pentamidine therapy. Medication administration may be included during these therapies.
• Administer medical gas therapies.
• Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• An Associate’s Degree from a respiratory care program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Texas (RCP).
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications required (NRP within first 30 days of employment).

As our Respiratory Therapist, you will care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory problems.

Every day, you will provide diagnostic evaluations for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities related to the cardiopulmonary system.
