Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care through detailed assessments, targeted therapies, and continuous monitoring of residents across acute and long-term care settings.

You will document care to meet standards, administer gases and medications, perform emergency airway management and CPR when needed, and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate holistic care for residents in our

• Valid Respiratory Care professional (RCP) license in the practicing state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed cardiopulmonary assessments, including reviewing patient history, conducting bedside PFT's and reviewing radiological studies and lab tests.
• Recommends and administers appropriate care plans and therapies based on resident assessments and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with all company policies and requirements.
• Administrates medical gases, aerosols, humidification, and pharmacological agents as prescribed.
• Provides emergency respiratory care including CPR and airway management as required.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and all healthecare professionals to provide holistic coordination of care.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll deliver comprehensive respiratory care through detailed assessments, targeted therapies, and continuous monitoring of residents. This Respiratory Therapist supports both our acute care and long-term care residents ensuring the highest clinical care and documentation standards are followed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, campus care staff, residents and families to provide a holistic care approach.
