Job summary

Synchrony in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive care to residents across acute and long-term settings, performing assessments, therapies, and ongoing monitoring.

Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Care professional (RCP) license in the practicing state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed cardiopulmonary assessments, including reviewing patient history, conducting bedside PFTs and reviewing radiological studies and lab tests.
• Recommends and administers appropriate care plans and therapies based on resident assessments and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with all company policies and requirements.
• Administers medical gases, aerosols, humidification, and pharmacological agents as prescribed.
• Provides emergency respiratory care including CPR and airway management as required.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and all healthcare professionals to provide holistic coordination of care.
