Job summary

Golden San Andreas Care Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RCP) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide respiratory care, assess patients, follow care plans, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a compassionate setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, an associate degree, and a California RCP license with CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications. A BS degree is preferred, with opportunities to advance within our care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Associate degree from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program required; BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow schedule/instructions from supervisor per procedures.
• Follow community policies and procedures.
• Conduct focused interviews to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms of patient conditions.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team.
• Plan outcomes of care for assigned patients.
• Perform interventions per plan and policies.
• Follow safety, infection control procedures.
• Report changes in respiratory status to physician/nurse.
