Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a part-time role. The position involves performing respiratory therapies for inpatients and outpatients, following established policies, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The shift includes every third weekend 12-hour days and 5 hours Tue–Thu when tests are scheduled. Requirements include graduation from an AMA‑approved program, NBRC registration, Delaware license or temporary license, and BLS

Qualifications

• Pulmonary Function Testing experience required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC (NBRC-registered).
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatments per policies and ensures continuity of care.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients with sound judgment.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Position Purpose:

This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.

As An RRT, You Will:

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients that demonstrates both knowledge of facts and sound judgement.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidiscipline approach to facilitate delivery of Care.
• Seeks knowledge in relation to patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation and team conference.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pulmonary Function Testing experience required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Certified in BLS.
