Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a part-time role with a 12-hour night shift. The position supports both inpatient and outpatient care on a schedule that includes every third weekend night shifts and occasional daytime coverage when tests are scheduled.

Prospective RRTs should be graduates of an AMA approved program, NBRC registered, licensed in Delaware (or valid temporary license), and BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC.
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients that demonstrates both knowledge of facts and sound judgement.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidiscipline approach to facilitate delivery of care.
• Seeks knowledge in relation to patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation and team conference.

Shift:

• Every third weekend night shift
• Occasionally, this role may cover Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm when certain tests are scheduled for outpatient.

As an RRT, you will:
