Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE. This part-time role covers a 12-hour night shift, with occasional daytime coverage as tests require.

You will perform respiratory treatments for inpatients and outpatients, collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective respiratory care. Must be a DE-licensed or temporarily licensed RRT with NBRC registration and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Must be NBRC registered as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Licensed in Delaware or valid temporary license and registered RT.
• Certified in BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatments per policies and procedures with effective communication for continuity of care.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients with sound judgment.
• Utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to deliver patient care.
• Seeks knowledge about patient conditions and documents findings for team discussions.

• Every third weekend night shift
• Occasionally, this role may cover Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm when certain tests are scheduled for outpatient.

Position Purpose

This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.

As An RRT, You Will

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients that demonstrates both knowledge of facts and sound judgement.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidiscipline approach to facilitate delivery of Care.
• Seeks knowledge in relation to patient’s condition, disease entity or treatment and reflect this in patient care and documentation and team conference.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through NBRC
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or valid temporary license and Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Certified in BLS.
